Dating to approximately 1940, this vintage leather pommel horse from Eastern Europe is one of those rare finds that makes us fall in love with antique furniture all over again.

Originally made for gymnastics, it has been beautifully worn by decades of use. The rich, aged leather, simple lines and wonderfully unusual proportions give it a character that couldn't be recreated.

We can picture it tucked beneath a beautiful entryway console, ready to pull out when you need a place to sit and put on your shoes.
