Hand knotted in Iran in the 1980s, this vintage Gouchan carries a classic Persian style. The cream field is filled with rows of small boteh (paisley) motifs in gold, deep green, oxblood, and ivory, all working around a small diamond medallion at the centre. Layered borders pick up the same gold and jewel tones, giving it that elaborate, lived-in look that good Persian rugs always have.
