Noble Pair 1 and 2

A beautifully coordinated pair of equestrian studies from the Lillian August collection for Wendover Art Group, Noble Pair 1 and Noble Pair 2 have the look of collected antique paintings, softened by a warm, timeworn finish. The restrained palette and traditional subject matter give them an old-world quality that feels equally at home in a layered traditional interior, country house or more relaxed collected space.

Each piece is a giclée on canvas, mounted to hardboard and finished with a hand-applied crackle treatment that adds subtle texture and the character of an aged original. They are framed without glass in a slim 1.5" frame, keeping the presentation simple and letting the artwork take centre stage.

Designed as companions, they are especially striking hung together over a console, sideboard or pair of chairs, but each piece also works beautifully on its own.
